Welcome to Mt. View Weimaraners, we are located in
Central California in the foothills of the Sequoia National
Monument, between Bakersfield and Fresno just off the 190.
We have 5 acres with the south fork of the Tule River running in
the back of our property. As you will see in some of our pictures,
our dogs love the water.
We fell in love with Weimaraners after we acquired Shyann in
2001, six months later came Tucker. They made such a great
couple and with great personalities, temperaments and good looks
we mated them. This produced an outstanding litter, and we were
hooked. We had so many people calling from all over California
looking for a great puppy , they did not want a show dog, but were
more interested in a family dog or a good hunting companion.
that we decided to move to the country on some acreage and
acquire more dogs, we now have 3 silver females that we breed
once a year to 1 blue male. So, we always have a mix of dogs,
silvers, greys and blues. We have kept 1 female puppy from each
of our bitches and acquired 1 more silver male. These puppies will
be ready to reproduce in 2008.
We are striving to produce a sound, healthy puppy with a loving
personality and good temperament to be placed into loving homes.
Our dogs make great family companions and some have been
trained for hunting with great results.
