Welcome to Mt. View Weimaraners, we are located in
Central California in the foothills of the Sequoia National
Monument, between Bakersfield and Fresno just off the 190.
We have 5 acres with the south fork of the Tule River running in
the back of our property. As you will see in some of our pictures,
our dogs love the water. We also have another location in the
High Desert (Yucca Valley) we have 2 1/2 acers that the dogs
get let out to run around.
We fell in love with Weimaraners after we acquired Shyann in
2001, six months later came Tucker. They made such a great
couple and with great personalities, temperaments and good
looks we mated them when they were 2 years old. They
produced an outstanding litter, and we were hooked. We had so
many people calling from all over the United States looking for a
great puppy , they did not want a show dog, but were more
interested in a family dog or a good hunting companion. We
decided to move to the country on some acreage and acquire
more dogs, we now have 8 females that we breed once a year to
3 Males. One male is blue, one is Sliver/ Gray and one is Gray.
So, we always have a mix of dogs, silvers, greys and blues. We
have kept 1 female puppy from a few of our litters.
We are striving to produce a sound, healthy puppy with a loving
personality and good temperament to be placed into loving homes.
Our dogs make great family companions and some have been
trained for hunting with great results.
